Your First Visit
Please arrive about ten minutes early so that you have enough time to fill out a New Patient form. To save time, you can download and fill out the form ahead of your appointment.
Initial Examination
Your dentist will begin by reviewing your medical and dental history and completing a comprehensive dental exam. This will include a thorough examination of your gums, teeth, bite and jaw, an oral cancer screening and any required X-rays.
Treatment Plan
Based on your history and examination, your dentist will develop a long-term dental treatment plan for you. Your dentist will also take the time to answer any questions you have about your dental health and treatment options.
Insurance & Payment
At Atlantic Smile Dentistry, we want to help make your dental experience as seamless as possible.
We do our best to help you navigate our options for payment and insurance so you can focus on more important things like restoring your oral health and achieving your dental goals.
Insurance Claims
For your convenience, we can direct bill your insurance company for you. Our administrative team is happy to assist you if you need help understanding your insurance plan more thoroughly.
Payment Methods
The full cost of your dental services and treatment must be paid at the time of your appointment. At Atlantic Smile Dentistry, we are able to accept payment by, debit, Visa and Mastercard and e-transfer.

The dental team at Atlantic Smile Dentistry offers nitrous oxide (laughing gas) sedation to help you relax during your appointments.
