Technologies at Our Dental Clinic

Technology helps us understand detailed information about your oral health during appointments. It also plays an important role in planning treatment options and keeping your dental visits as efficient as possible.

We can treat dental issues more precisely and accurately by leveraging dental technology. Since technology helps relay detailed information to our dental team more efficiently, you can expect minimals delays to start treatment.

Chairside monitors in our treatment rooms allow us to show you your digital X-rays and scans, allowing us to point out problem areas, walk you through our treatment recommendations, and provide you with important information about caring for your smile.

Digital X-Rays

We can obtain high-resolution images of your teeth, gums, and other oral structures with digital X-rays. We can share these detailed images with you during your appointment, or with a specialist if you require a referral. We can also use digital X-rays to provide information to your insurance company so they understand why dental treatment is required.

Panoramic X-Rays

Panoramic X-rays allow your dentist to create a single image of your entire mouth. Panoramic X-rays are a flat representation of your teeth, upper and lower jaws, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), and nasal and sinus structures all in one image. Details provided by panoramic X-rays can help plan treatments for dentures, braces, extractions, dental implants, and even pain.

Intraoral Scanners

Your dentist can take a digital image of the interior of your mouth to create a digital representation using an optical scanning wand. This device allows your dentist to capture accurate data to better understand the hard and soft tissues of your mouth.

Oral Cancer Screening Device

Oral cancer screening is a safe and effective option for detecting abnormalities in your mouth, such as cancerous and pre-cancerous lesions. The process is relatively quick, taking about two minutes, and can be performed during your routine exam.
