Crowns are strong and are usually made from a durable material such porcelain and metal. Crowns look and function similar to natural teeth. If crowns are cared for properly, they may last well over a decade, or even more.
Dental Bridges
A dental bridge is a natural-looking restoration that 'bridges' a gap left by missing teeth. Made up of one or more artificial teeth, the bridge is affixed to the teeth on either side of the gap to fill the space.
Dental bridges can help prevent your other teeth from shifting in your mouth to fill the space left by missing teeth, helping to prevent misalignment issues. This is important because misaligned teeth are more difficult to clean in between, which can result in the development of gum disease.
