As a person who has dealt with the effects of Tetracycline staining throughout the majority of my life, I kept my smile hidden through tight-lipped grins or behind my hand. I was embarrassed of the dark staining on my teeth and, on occasion when I would “slip up” and expose my smile, those who did not know me would at times ask “are your teeth rotten?” the impact of this was significant, especially as a child and young adult. Now, thanks to the wonderful and knowledgeable staff at Atlantic Smile I can give a full on open-lipped smile! Strange how such a thing as a great smile can boost one’s security and confidence even at this age!
