Dental Hygiene

• Regular visits with our friendly, skilled hygienist are as important as daily brushing and flossing. We will make a recall schedule tailored to your needs and teach you how to properly care for your smile at home everyday.
• A dental hygiene visit at Atlantic Smile consists of scaling teeth to remove harmful bacteria, polishing to help get rid of stains and possibly a fluoride treatment which strengthens the enamel. Oral cancer screening, dental x-rays, nutritional counselling and a check up with the dentist are all part of your appointment.
