Dr. Kim Maddison, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Maddison has owned and been operating this growing practice since 2005. He graduated from Dalhousie University in 1995 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Prior to, he completed a year of Immunology in Special Sciences at Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Acadia University.
Kim enjoys the diversity of general dentistry and has a special interest in root canal therapy and oral surgery. His passion for dentistry, and his overall concern for people is evident in the positive atmosphere and team spirit around the office.

Dr. Tim Giddens, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Giddens received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Dentistry in 2001. From 2000 until 2008, he served as an officer in the Canadian Forces Dental Service. He is certified by the National Dental Examining Board of Canada and is registered with the Provincial Dental Board of Nova Scotia. Dr. Giddens has been practicing dentistry in Amherst since 2008.

Dr. Vivian Hsu, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Hsu attained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2001 from Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Dentistry. She has been practicing dentistry in Amherst since 2008. She is certified by the National Dental Examining Board of Canada and is registered with the Provincial Dental Board of Nova Scotia.

Dr. Zach Scinocca, DDS

Dentist

Zach Scinocca hails from Fergus, Ontario and is a 2021 Dentistry Graduate from Dalhousie University in Halifax, N.S. He also has a Bachelors in Microbiology and Immunology with a major in genetics from the University of Western Ontario, as well as a Master’s degree in infection and immunity from McMaster university. Zach joined Atlantic Smile Dentistry in August of 2021 and calls Amherst his home with his partner Cayla and their beloved canine companion, Scruffy. Dr. Scinocca enjoys various aspects of dentistry, in particular root canals and extractions. He is also trained to provide treatment using Nitrous Oxide.
