Extractions

• An extraction is when a tooth is removed from its place in your mouth.
• You may need a tooth extraction if your tooth is badly decayed or infected. It is important that your medical history is up to date, including all your medications and medical conditions. A dental x-ray will be taken before any extractions to reveal the position and the shape of the tooth and roots.
