Our pride is in your smile.

At Atlantic Smile Dentistry we believe it is just as important to give our patients a reason to smile as it is to create one.

We are excited to welcome patients back into the office.

We’ll be reaching out to confirm appointments and to re-book those who had appointments cancelled.
We take your health and the health of our staff members seriously. We have a number of systems in place throughout to practice to protect you and staff members. Here are a few of the precautions we take every day.

We will continue to pre-screen patients using the latest guidance from the NS Department of Health and Wellness and the NS Dental Association. The initial pre-screening will take place over the phone and you’ll be assessed again when you arrive at the office. We ask that all patients who are feeling sick to please reschedule.

Social distancing

We’ve arranged the schedule to reduce wait times. Please make every effort to arrive on time for your appointment. If you encounter another patient or staff member, please do your best to maintain two metres of space between you at all times.

Office disinfection

High touch surfaces throughout the office are wiped down regularly. Magazines and toys have been removed from the waiting room. Between patients, the consultation room is cleaned and disinfected, and surface barriers are replaced.

All tools are either disposable or thoroughly sterilized between patients. We’re proud to uphold rigorous sterilization procedures at our office.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

All our dental healthcare professionals wear personal protective equipment to protect themselves and patients.

Smiles are contagious

We see smiles every day.

For some, it may be in creating a smile they never had or simply the gentle relief of oral discomfort. For others, it may be overcoming their dental anxiety. From reception to treatment, our positive and professional dental team will make you feel comfortable and relaxed while maintaining the highest standard of care. It is our collective belief that the patient should always come first.
Since the practice began in 1972 with Dr. Barry MacLeod treating and educating the people of Cumberland County on the importance of good oral health, we have continued to honour his legacy with building on core practice values that include keeping current with the latest dental techniques and implementing advanced technology.

Come see us today!

The clinic relocated to its new modern facility in 2016 with all new equipment in a bright and spacious environment. We have expanded our dental services to provide a wide range of treatment options to better serve our patient family.

We are now accepting new patients.
